Email A Webpage URL From Safari on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad

Send to a Friend Without Copy & Paste

Ever want to send a web page to a friend or colleague and found yourself trying to copy and paste the URL directly out of the internet address bar in Safari?

There is an easier way!

When you’re viewing any webpage in Safari on your iOS device simply tap the Sharing button on the lower toolbar.  That’s the button that looks like a little paper tray with a swishing arrow.

Now tap Mail Link to this Page from the pop up menu and a new mail message will be created right inside Safari.

The new message will inherit the web page’s title as the default subject line and the internet address (URL) will be placed in the body.

Add some text, enter an address and tap Send!

This tip was tested and verified on iOS 4.3.3 on an iPhone 3GS.  Does it work the same for you?
