Change Synced Photo Events and Albums Sort Order on iPhone, iPod or iPad

Photo Sync For Mac Users

When you sync your photos to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, iTunes syncs your events and albums in the order they appear in iTunes itself.

You may also notice that iTunes does not allow you to re-order either the Albums or Events which to some is quite annoying.

So here’s how to do it:

On a Mac -

1.  Quit iTunes

2.  Open iPhoto

3.  Click Events

4.  Drag your events to the order in which you would like to appear on your iOS device

5.  Launch iTunes and sync.

iTunes picks up the sort order from iPhoto.  The same goes for your albums.  Simply drag and drop them into your preferred order and then re-open iTunes and sync.

Anyone got a Windows tip for this?  Let us know!
